She was 5 years old girl, youngest, living in a small house with her parents and 5 siblings. She liked to go to church with her 2 sisters servicing to the Lord through singing. She was a member of San Antonio de Padua Parish Choir (SAPP Choir) in New Bataan, Davao where she was born. She loved to play guitar even her fingertips were too thin and small ;-) and enjoy singing while strumming. She was singing the psalm during masses and the people listened her very sting voice. Her peers loved her in her childishness, innocent and gully. Everybody loves her. She had so many kuya, ate, nanay and tatay. She's the baby of them all. At the age of 5, she was visitor in Grade I and always late in going to school in fact their house was so near. Because she was the youngest, she used to wake up late and ate very slowly, not chewing the food right. She's very thin and her friends called her "tikling". She was discriminated with her fellow classmates maybe because of the status of her family and physically she looked unhealthy. But, the reality, she's fit and doing fine, very active, and fun to be with.
She was growing with questions in her mind, why her classmates treated her in that way? She's friendly and easy to go with. She had no wealth to be proud of! There were really people like that, happy when somebody was sad. But this kid was strong. Until one day, she found herself that she stood up and continue her dreams even many hurdles came in her way. She continued kicking and applied scholarship in her college days. In God's grace with her ambition in life, with strong determination, she's now successful. Many were happy and feel great in her success especially her parents and siblings.
In life, even how many times we are stumbled, let's carry ourselves to stood still until we reached the finishing line of this journey. We put fears, anxieties behind our back and let God be in front in all plans we have.
